Dismissal Procedures

When will dismissal be delayed?
We delay dismissal when alerted by PBCSD of weather hazards within our area, specifically lightning or extreme rain.

How will I know?
We will alert parents of dismissal delays by text and on our ETES Facebook page.

Who will be delayed?
Bikers, chaperoned walkers and independent walkers will be held back. Car riders, aftercare and clubs will dismiss as normal.

What is the rainy day procedure?
Delayed students will be held safely in our media center under staff supervision. You may pick your student up using the side door near the bus loop. Remaining students will be released as normal once the weather alert has been lifted.
